RIZ TRANSMITTERS OR 50 K-02/A

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

50 kW SW BROADCASTING TRANSMITTER TYPE RIZ OR 50 K-02/A

BASIC CHARACTERISTICS AND USE

photo RIZ Transmitters OR 50 K-02/A The 50 kW SW broadcast transmitter type RIZ 50 K-02/A is a member of the RIZ new generation of amplitude modulated transmitters. With completely solid state modulator and new approach for getting SSB signal this transmitter is superior to any other standard SW transmitter in the 50 kW power range.

Using DSP (Digital Signal Processing), and basic principles of Kahn System, the advanced SSB system is achieved and applied to C-class RF output amplifier, resulting in excellent overall transmitter efficiency.

This transmitter, as all other RIZ transmitters is designed in accordance with German ARD standards and CCIR recommendations.

The transmitter itself is constructed as a self-contained unit. All control and monitoring elements are installed on the front panel of the transmitter. Tuning, sequential control and audio processing of the transmitter are based on 16-bit microcontrollers, PLD-s and DSP-s.

FEATURES

The transmitter has the following features:

* operation at any frequency within the short wave bands between 3.2 and 26.1 MHz

* completely solid state modulator, adaptable encoding, fault tolerant

* high efficiency (modulator >95%)

* 30 sec max. tuning time

* microprocessor, PLD and DSP technology

* two graph displays for tuning and sequential control

* extremely compact design

* quick and simplified installation

* easy front and rear access

* Adaptable Carrier Control (ACC) in AM (A3) mode of operation (optional)

* SSB (optional)

* minimized exploitation and maintenance costs

* reliable operation in extreme climatic and environmental conditions

* possibility of remote control and unattended operation.
